Week 3 Dev Log


Week 3 - Switchtosis

Things implemented:

- Custom title screen sprites & title music

- Remapped lobby (tiles are now 16x16 instead of 32x32)

- Added new blinky models

- Added spaceship and space background in lobby

- Added signal to tell player when to switch controls

Sprites

A majority of this week was used for creating new sprites in order to fill out the game more.

Title screen:

Added a bunch of space like sprites and added a floating script to them to add to the space theme.

Future plans for next week:

- Dialogue box for blinky: Must be a long 'week' for this since i've had this planned since week 1, but it has proven more difficult to implement than intended and will be the main focus this week.

- Adding sprites into weapons: Weapons will have the player sitting in a chair in the middle, with the different colour aliens (red, green, blue, purple) spawning in with the notes. When the player hits the note, an animation will play of that alien getting destroyed.

- Adding sprites for weapons and settings entryways
